Sisters joined the Associates in the chapel of Holy Faith Convent, Glasnevin, on Sunday, 25th March, for a three-fold associate commitment ceremony and talk by Sr. Jacinta Prunty on John Joseph Steiner.

Killester Convent's Urn - linking 1932 and 2012

Sr. Anne Ryan provides us with this lovely story of the urn, given as a gift to the Killester community by the architect of their newly-built convent in 1932 and its pride of place this year in an exhibition for the International Eucharistic Congress.

First Broadcast of St. Patrick's Day Mass from Knock Shrine

 Mass was broadcast from the Apparition Chapel at Knock Shrine on St. Patrick's Day by RTE and was available to some 148 million people  as it was relayed by EWTN and the European Broadcasting Union also - and the beautiful Mass in Irish was composed by our own Sr. Marie Dunne!

On February 7th Sr. Úna Collins gave a public lecture in the Education Department to mark her retirement from NUI Maynooth.  Úna spoke on the challenges which she faced as a young teacher, guidance counsellor and school principal and the many initiatives she  undertook to make school a more living, meaningful experience for young people.

The End of an Era in Tallaght Community School

Several Holy Faith sisters, who had been Board or staff members or were involved in handing over the Trusteeship of the school to Le Chéile, returned to TCS on Wednesday, 29th February to share in the tribute to Mr. Patrick Coffey on his retirement as principal after eighteen years..

Pilgrims in Waterford
Pilgrimage to Waterford

On Saturday, February 26th,2011, eighteen sisters and associates went on a day's pilgrimage to Waterford. Highlights included visiting Waterford cathedral for Mass and seeing Margaret Aylward's baptismal entry in the 1810 Register, visiting Thomas Street where her home was, the Aylward grave in Tramore and the Edmund Rice Centre.
