On Tuesday, 13th March, Mother of Divine Grace NS Ballgall celebrated its 50th Anniversary with Mass and a Reception, which brought together present staff and pupils, former staff, parents, past-pupils and Holy Faith sisters for an evening to remember.

First Broadcast of St. Patrick's Day Mass from Knock Shrine
Mass was broadcast from the Apparition Chapel at Knock Shrine on St. Patrick's Day by RTE and was available to some 148 million people as it was relayed by EWTN and the European Broadcasting Union also - and the beautiful Mass in Irish was composed by our own Sr. Marie Dunne!

NEWS 2:  A Life facing Challenges: Reflections of a School Guidance Counsellor
On February 7th Sr. Úna Collins gave a public lecture in the Education Department to mark her retirement from NUI Maynooth. Úna spoke on the challenges which she faced as a young teacher, guidance counsellor and school principal and the many initiatives she undertook to make school a more living, meaningful experience for young people.

NEWS 2:  Launch of Soul Waves Radio's new website
RNN (Religious News Network), formerly 3R Radio, launched its new website and new name "Soul Waves Radio" in Avila Retreat and Conference Centre on Wednesday, 14th March. This gives a new impetus to their aim of "broadcasting Faith, Justice and Social Issues".

Pilgrimage to Waterford
On Saturday, February 26th,2011, eighteen sisters and associates went on a day's pilgrimage to Waterford. Highlights included visiting Waterford cathedral for Mass and seeing Margaret Aylward's baptismal entry in the 1810 Register, visiting Thomas Street where her home was, the Aylward grave in Tramore and the Edmund Rice Centre.
