The
Holy Faith Prayer Associates in Ireland
were established in 1989. At present there
are 240 members, mainly relatives, friends,
past-pupils and colleagues of the sisters.
Membership
The
structure of the Prayer Associates is simple:
the request that Holy Faith Sisters and
our ministries be remembered in prayer.
We ask for prayer for ourselves and for
all associated with us in ministry in the
spirit of Margaret Aylward:
"Pray
for me, that I may live worthy of my vocation.
it is a great one: the defence of the
faith." [Margaret Aylward]
Each
Prayer Associate receives a membership card
and the suggested prayer shown. Holy Faith
communities too commit themselves to pray
for the intentions of Prayer Associates.
We trust in the power of this prayer for
each other remembering the words of Scripture:
"Do
not be anxious about anything, but in
everything,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God." [Philippians
4:6]
All
Prayer Associates receive a letter several
times a year in which Holy Faith news and
current prayer needs at home and abroad
are shared.

Loving
God,
source of all life and truth,
we thank you for the life of

and for her untiring efforts
in the service of faith.

undertaken today by those
who share her charism -
Holy Faith sisters, colleagues,
friends and families.

In
a recent survey of Prayer Associates, many
indicated that they would welcome involvement
in Holy Faith events and faith formation,
and so all who wish are welcome to join
the Sisters and Associates at future functions
and will be notified as events take place.

Sisters Brenda, Veronica, Pat and Niamh, who form the New Membership Team, send a special request to you for prayer.
They would value your prayer support very much for God's guidance in their vocation ministry and also for the gift of new members.
